Swahili STARTALK is a summer professional development program for teachers of Swahili.

NCOLCTL Swahili STARTALK


What: An intensive three-week program that allows you to participate in professional development that focuses on quality instruction, curriculum and assessment for Swahili language.
Who: This program was open to both current and new teachers of Swahili.
 
Where: The program took place in Bloomington, IN
 
When: Program dates were: July 7-25, 2014

            July 7-11, 2014 (One-week Non-Residential online program)

                   July 14-25, 2014 (Two-week Residential program in 

                   Bloomington)


Cost:   STARTALK covers the following:
          (i) Participants' transportation fee*
          (ii) Accommodation for the two-week residential
               program
          (iii) Reimbursement of NCOLCTL Online course   
                fee ($150)
          (iv) *Meals
          (v) A Certificate of Completion upon successfully
               completing the program
